Tegucigalpa 1997

The frame was designed by the author and made in Tegucigalpa in 1997. A glazed ceramic form with two red dots (artist ID) was added to the frame in 2021, symbolizing the unity of the painting with its direct surrounding, the protecting frame.

On the backside the name of the work was changed in 1997 from the masculine “man” (dutch) and “hombre” (spanish) to the more inclusive “mens” and “persona”.
